China 2015
This weekend's GP was China for which we ate Ma Lai Go. It's a reasonably simple recipe for a sponge cake but which is cooked by steaming rather than baking. In the end it tastes like the steamed sponge cakes we grew up with at school dinners, but with the custard flavour in the cake! Eating it warm (at its best) adds to the experience. All good, and the office didn't object to eating the left overs.
