 As we venture to Miami the entire herd of girls from our street have made flags for the USA and Florida, but Tally alone took on the task of writing about her favourite facts fro Florida...

The Everglades is the only place in the WORLD where alligators live with crocodiles. I wonder if they say "see you later alligator,  in a while crocodile."

Florida has OVER 300 DAYS of sun in a year.

Explorer Ponce De Leon (the person that discovered Florida in 1513) named it after the Spanish Easter celebration known as Pascua Florida, which means feast of flowers.

There are more than 1,300   golf courses in Florida.

1,000 people move to Florida each day.

It is home to Disney World, 62,000 people visit there every day. It's Tally's dream place to go but it's far too hot so she's having second thoughts.
